Lyla C. Prather, MD

Dr. Prather believes primary care is where good heath starts.
She focuses on giving patients the tools to help them take control of their health.
By creating a patient-physician partnership, Dr. Prather helps center patient care around lifestyle and risk factor modification to help prevent or better manage conditions like diabetes, hypertension, gout and heart disease. She also emphasizes the importance of early detection of diseases like cancer, autoimmune disease and infection, where early intervention makes a difference.
Dr. Prather is a graduate of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, the University of Southern California and Punahou School.
Erlinda M. Cachola, MD

Dr. Cachola completed her Medical Education at the University of the East in the Philippines. She immigrated to Hawaii with her family in 1972, and complete residency in Internal Medicine. She enjoys being a primary care physician and has cared for multigenerational families in our community for over 45 years. She devotes her spare time to activities like health fairs and medical missions, and continues to be an active member of the Filipino Catholic Club at St. Anthony’s Church in Kalihi.
